I have a 87 that i just purchased. It has a 2.5 and seems to run OK, but, where this is my first one I have nothing to compare to. I wanted to do some routine maintance and check for codes and didn't get any so I took the cover off the indicator light group and the spot for the check engine light is empty. I don't see any wires hanging. Is there somewhere else I can check for codes? Are there any other suggestions?
