Are mechanical water temp gauges a good fix for bad factory electric gauge.Going back to the 60's they were more dependable than OEM but have been reading the new 1"s are prone to failure.This is a 1988 YJ with 4.2.Just use as a runaround vehicle close to home + no hardcore wheeling.
