As gila said, really need to know your engine and transmission combo. Personally only on the 4.0 3-speed auto would I consider 4.56 with 35's. With a manual 4.0 I'd go straight to 5.13 and with a 4 cylinder I really wouldn't run 35's at all because I can't choose a ratio low enough that I think it would be worth it. So, what engine and trans do you have? I regeared my 4.0 5-speed manual to 4.88 and 33's. Haven't driven it still but will soon. Should be great. Ran 4.10 and 31s for years, was very good overall, geared like a TJ rubicon, but sometimes I still wanted a little more pep. I like to be around 2800-3000 on the highway at 70-75 mph and I shift higher than that, more like 3800-4000 in town and 4500-5000 merging onto the highway. Also as stated previously, the D35 is not very good for 35's and should be beefed up or replaced. And pretty much no matter what, the 4 cyl manual is not going to like 35's because you just can't really gear low enough for them without swapping to other axles.
