Hi everyone, I have a question I can’t figure out, I have a 93 wrangler with a 3” body lift, can anybody tell me how to install the inner shifting boot. I know how to install it but when I do the transmission won’t stay in 2, 4 and reverse. I think it’s because of the 3” body lift, would anyone know what to do

Good luck with a 3" body lift. That thick boot being that high up the shift tower will wreak havock on the shift forks if nothing else. Try sourcing a nice soft leather on from a junk yard or maybe aftermarket. Do make sure the trans tower where the shifter sits has a good boot.

yea I have a transfer case drop and my boot try's to make my trans come out of gear. When it cold I have to hold it until the boot heats up. Wish someone made a soft rubber boot.
