Grinding sound on startup

Hey y'all I recently started experiencing a Metallic grinding scraping noise coming from under the jeep when I crank it. Only lasts a couple seconds or so then stops and jeep starts as normal. No sound when driving or idling (so far) only when turning key to start. So far it's only happened twice. Starter? Anyone else experience this? Thank you all for your time. 95 yj 2.5 auto

Have the starter tested for free at an auto parts store, as the solenoid may be faulty. Autozone has done it for me in the past. If it is fine then you may have a damaged flywheel…or perhaps misaligned
