While the engine head in the shop, I am trying to get ready for it. How do you clean where the lifters are and cylinders? When I removed the head, some junk got in there, coolant, oil crust and dirt. I saw one video where he vacuumed out the debris, sprinkled Seafoam and brushed lightly. If I scrub with Seafoam, should I remove the lifters first? I will change the oil when everything is in place.

Ive used a shop vac which worked fine. Do your best to remove any carbon chunks. DO NOT use a wire wheel on the deck of the block, use a painters razor holder and scrape till free of gasket material and then use something like brake clean to wipe it off.
