Gauges

I have a 92 jeep wrangler. I just changed my heater core and I’ve noticed my fuel and temperature gauges do not move. Fuel is full and temperature is at 0. Help.

It's possible that some wires were inadvertently disconnected or damaged during the heater core replacement. Inspect the wiring harness connected to the instrument cluster and ensure everything is securely plugged in.

Make sure that the ground connections for the gauges are intact. A poor ground can cause the gauges to read incorrectly or not at all.

If the above doesn't resolve the issue, consider removing the gauge cluster and checking for any loose connections or issues on the circuit board itself.

And finally, the temperature gauge might be faulty. If it’s not sending the correct signals, your gauge may not read properly.
