I have acquired a very original 6cyl 87YJ , my first jeep. I did a tune up today and noticed several unused connectors under the hood. Couple of 2 prong, a 4 prong and a 6 prong connector. Is this normal? Mine is pretty basic, no ac or other goodies. Thanks for any help

There are a lot of unused connectors on YJs, much like many vehicles. Easier to build only a few different harnesses and have them fit a bunch more vehicles with a few unused connectors than it is to build a specific harness for every combination of vehicle options.
Pretty sure these are just extra on the harness. First one is near the firewall #2 is behind the alternator #3 is behind the carburetor thanks, Stu
