Cranked up my TJ and gas spewed everywhere

I have been out of town staying with my moms for over four months -got back yesterday, cranked up my old girl and gas spewed from somewhere under my door - like the fuel line - only spewed while it was running .. I am capable of simple repairs and maintenance ..does anyone have experience changing fuel lines ? Does anyone think It’s something I could do myself ? Please advise .. it’s my only ride and I have two boys
I am dead in the water with I ride 😬
 
Back near that area is the fuel filter that's attached with short rubber hoses on each end. My first guess is the rubber hose broke or the clamp is loose. The filter is protected under a small skid plate.
