I bought my 92 Jeep YJ in very good condition for a cheap price because the previous owner (first car) ran it out of oil when the engine oil pressure sending unit failed and dumped out all the oil. It's all stock with a 2.5L and AX-5 except he put on 31" tires. My plan was to rebuild it and sell it but now that it's almost done I've caught the bug and want to keep it. I've put over 400 miles on it since the rebuild and so far everything's running great. I had all the engine machine work done up in Conroe by Ted's and I did all the labor pulling it apart and then back together. The frame need repair under the skid pan around the nutcerts and then a few rust holes on the body and drivers side floor pan were cut out and patched/replaced. The next big project will be to spray on Lizard Skin on the inside floor for heat and protection. Body work and paint is next for the Spit. I got sidetracked by the Jeep. :)
