I have a 89 jeep with a 258 and 3 speed auto that im gonna daily soon and just wondering what the mpg is gonna be

Do you have a lift? If so, what size? What size are the tires?
Aftermarket bumpers, winch, etc?
If so, you can expect maybe 10-12 MPG city and maybe 14-16 MPG highway, if you're lucky.
A lot of it depends on how you drive too, but given the piss poor aerodynamics of the Wrangler, you'll be lucky to ever get close to 18-20 MPG, which may happen once on a blue moon if you're at 55 MPH steady on the highway hyper-miling

My 88 is 4.2 automatic all stock, except for high energy distributor, and a manual choke, runs nice but only gets 14mpg
