My 95 ax5 is smooth like butter. I had it rebuilt about 10 years ago because the previous owner power shifted for several months because the clutch master cylinder failed (dumbass). I run 75W90 in it and change it regularly. I double clutch always when reversing and it goes right in.

If you have a winch it is not usable. It just covers the space where winches are installed. I have a dusty one in my garage somewhere.

Could be u joints, rear shaft bearings, or pinion bearing in rear end. Any or all of the above. I've had it all happen at different times, same vibration. Does it make a clunk when you break hard?
