    Is the voltage regulator bad on my 89 YJ?

    I have a 89 Jeep YJ 2.5L that I think the voltage regulator is bad. There appears to bean after market voltage regulator on in now. Need to replace but am confused because aftermarket only has two wires and OEM had three.
