    Electrical Wire Connected to Seatbelt "Boot"

    I am replacing all of my front seatbelts and while I was removing my driver's side belt "boot" I found an electrical wire attached to the belt. Does anyone know what this is and can it be removed / cut? I have the new buckle in and the boot is just laying in the back seat for the time being...
