Code 27: injector circuit malfunction (what would you do?)

If I was a betting man, I'd almost bet you've got a break somewhere in the wiring harness. I can't tell you how often this is the case and how often it gets overlooked because in many cases it requires doing some serious investigative work and tearing apart the wiring harness. I don't trust...

Sanity Check - YJ Ownership Cost

5k isn't enough. You're going to need to spend a lot more for something that's been well maintained and won't require a lot of work.

Steering feels sketchy after lift install

A few things: Check Tire Pressure: Lowering your tire pressure can indeed help absorb bumps, but you don't want to go too low, especially with 35-inch tires. Aim for a pressure that balances comfort and stability, typically around 26-28 PSI is a good start for off-road tires on a lifted Jeep...

Hard shift into reverse and 1st gear

Since you mentioned manually adjusting the TV cable, make sure it’s set correctly. A mis-adjusted TV cable can create harsh shifts. If it’s too tight, it may be causing the hard shifts into reverse and 1st gear. I'd also double-check your transmission fluid level. If it’s too low or too high...

    95 2.5L running rough

Here’s how you can check the TPS with a multimeter: Disconnect the TPS: Make sure you turn off the engine and disconnect the battery for safety. Then, unplug the TPS connector. Set Up Your Multimeter: Set your multimeter to the DC voltage setting. Find the Correct Pins: The TPS usually has...

Where can I get a rebuilt AX5 manual transmission for my 95 wrangler 2.5?

There are 2 ways to do this: Advanced Adapters sells a bellhousing kit for this swap. @NovakConversions may sell an adapter as well! Find a bellhousing from a 94-99 Dodge Dakota V6.

Where can I get a rebuilt AX5 manual transmission for my 95 wrangler 2.5?

Why not swap it out for an AX-15? @NovakConversions sells brand new ones. I don't know of anyone that offers AX5s as most people seem to upgrade to the AX-15 when the time comes. It's a better transmission all around.

93 4-cylinder CEL comes on when it wants to

Code 12 indicates that the battery has been disconnected recently, which is normal if you've done any work on the electrical system. Code 33 is related to the A/C switch; it might not be a major issue unless you’re having cooling problems. Code 53 is specific to the ECU, which suggests a problem...

Weber carb plays up after long steady drive

Since you've mentioned that the car drives well initially but then stalls after changing speed, it could indicate that your fuel pump isn't supplying enough fuel under certain conditions. Given that your setup is using an electric pump positioned below the carb, it should ideally create enough...
