Took off the air intake and saw that the throttle valve was visibly wet on top with gas. Could be fuel injector or the throttle body. I’m going to spray TB cleaner and see what happens.

That’s what I keep finding is that it’s not a typical carb. I intend to get some carb cleaner and test for vacuum leaks. Start there and see where it takes me

It is a 2.5L. No major noise issues. Not sure what exactly an exhaust leak sounds like, although there is some odor coming from the undercarriage.

1990 Jeep Wrangler, 130k miles. Runs and idles fine to start but after 10-15 minutes or with any uphill acceleration starts to buck and eventually cuts out. Exhaust comes weakly out of the pipe. Local mechanic suggested it could be the carburetor, catalytic converter or muffler but couldn’t...
