Driver seat off-centered vs the steering wheel

Kinda how they are. Look at the base where the seats are bolted to the tub and you can see how/where they bolt down. Could you move them? I suppose anything is possible. Not sure I get your auto/manual part.

Unknown Ground Wire On Steering Column

Like Macho said, that ring terminal if definitely an OEM job. If that the only hack job on your YJ consider yourself very lucky . ;)

    Help identifying vacuum leak

Its a check valve basically. Ive nabbed a few off other vehicles over the years at junk yards. Finding t hat particular one for a YJ may be a bit of a bear. IIRC its either for the 4x4 or the heater controls. Have a look at Dorman 47170.

    Intermediate to Wormshaft Connection

As you said Macho, IIRC the upper shaft has a slip joint of sorts. It might be rusted up and not move either but Id be pretty reluctant to drive it as it is.

    Intermediate to Wormshaft Connection

I dont believe that is right. I'm guessing you have very little contact or overlap in the two and I wanna say the unsplined area in the middle is where the bolt would typically rest.

Abnormal engine temperatures on 1995 YJ 4.0

You should use a 195 which is 90ish Celsius thermostat correct? A couple of things., The new thermo was mis boxed, did you see the 195 on it? you sure its installed correctly?, and lastly jeep gauges are not known for accuracy. Rust bucket

Jeeps are notorious for rotting frames. Before you get to ahead of yourself you should inspect the frame 100% INSIDE and outside. Look thru the holes in the frame where there are elongated holes. stick a flash light in there and check for flaking and rust. Spring hangers, the area between the...

    The UTV thread?

First off this is not a flame the UTV thread. We, or I should say the wife has a Yamaha Rhino 450. Its used for our property, hauling hay, weeds, and fixing fences,. Its LOUD, hot and pretty cramped. Id consider an upgrade to say a newer Ranger or Teryx 2 seater. I know some of you folks have...

Where are the good seats for cheap?

In that environment I slap on some good seat covers. My 91 had Bestop seats and I didnt care for them. If it matters im 240 6'3", they felt good for a smaller framed person.

    4.2 FI vs. 4.0 H.O. - impressions?

Surely you'll get plenty of opinions on this one. Nice YJ BTW. One question would be what gears? My last CJ, a Jamboree edition, had 2.73 gears and was a 3 speed auto. Ive had 5 XJ's with the 4.0, 4 CJ's with the 258, 2YJ's with the 4.0 and 2 TJ's with a 4 and 6 and a 4.0 MJ, to compare. Will...

    Throttle Position Sensor

Im not familiar with your years FI system, however typically there are specific voltage requirements at idle. IIRC something like .05 volts. Are the mounting ears slotted? I can say the newer jeeps Ive had you slap it on and there is no adjustment.
