With about 9,000 to 9,500 on the rebuild I did on the 1994 4.0...The rear engine seal has gone to bleeding out a quart every 50 miles. I mean it blew like a switch got flipped. I'd change the sending unit and cinch it down with a 1/4 inch drive socket. If the leak persists, I'd check into some of this.... Seen the guy's on Roadkill use it a few times....

I ripped everything out of climate control and just ran an On/Off switch to the blower and put a cut off ball valve inline to the heater core for summertime.... Put a blank ABS board over the hole and have a ton of room for the switches I'm gonna need for the new lights......
