I have a 1995 2.5L manual, and im having some type of misfire or hesitation around 2500 RPMS, 5th gear is broke so I have to ride around in 4th gear on 55mph highways. I really dont have a whole lot of experience working on vehicles so I have no idea what it could be. I replaced the crank shaft position sensor a while ago maybe it could have gone bad or something idk. Thought maybe my fuel pump but it only really happens at high rpms. Not sure any input would help me out.

Fifth gear seems to have a problem on the AX-5 with a retaining clip coming off and the gear assembly sliding off the shaft. There are customized kits available to keep them in place.
Fuel, Fire, and Air. Covers about everything. Could be spark plugs, wires, vacuum leak, check the mass airflow sensor with a multimeter, fuel pressure, fuel filter. All can be checked and cleaned.
