I have a 1991 Jeep Wrangler Renegade, the turn signal/wiper arm with the flat lever on top, that pushed forward and backward doesn’t cycle the wiper or mists the window. You can twist the knob on the end of the wiper lever and all wiper functions work. I hot wired the washer motor and it works and squirts water out the nozzels. What causes this??? Thanks. 😭😪

I have a similar problem on my ‘95; unfortunately I haven’t figured it out. The washer fluid motor works with external 12v, and the multifunction stalk will make it work if I disconnect the wiper arm motor, but with everything plugged in I can’t get any washer fluid to spray. I don’t know about yours, but mine has a primitive circuit board under the column that I suspect is the issue.

TRevs, thanks for the reply. Please figure it out and let me know. If you have a wiring schematic of that system please give me the URL. There has to be a connection with that flat lever for that one swipe wiper operation and mists for the window. The rear window wiper works but again the squirters don't. And again all the washer hoses and squirters are clear. I only see one washer motor, is that correct? Thanks again. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Wiring diagrams and factory manuals are available Here.

Mine has two fluid motors attached to the single front reservoir, but I don't have a hardtop so I never tried the rear sprayer, even though it’s equipped.
