(SOLVED) Jeep died when coming to stop. Cranks, but won't restart.

Your local auto parts store should have one to borrow for a refundable deposit. Hook that puppy to the schrader valve and see if you have fuel pressure cranking. If not, try pinching the return line (protect the line with a rag so whatever you use to close it off doesn't damage it). See if it builds pressure then. You can also just jump the fuel pump relay with a piece of wire instead of continually cranking on the motor.

Thank you! I will try this.

Also purchased a Spectra Premium LO176 sending gasket.

Noticed the stamping stating 'top front' is wrong. I had to flip it around and over a few times to make sure all the holes lined up correctly before shoving the sender into the tank, so beware. It does work, though I may have gotten a bad batch. Kinda hard to see how, as I'm sure it is injection molded rubber or made in a similar fashion.

I had the exact same issue when I did mine. I laid it down as it instructed but it didn't line up. Looked at the old one and scratched my head for a second. Did the same thing, flipped it around and over and saw that the holes would line up, so in it went. Not sure why it's like that.

Weird, I don't think I had that issue with the gasket. I want to say the last time I messed with mine, I kept trying to install the gasket not realizing the words were there, and then when I finally found the words and followed them, it worked. But, I don't really remember by now. Maybe I'm misremembering.
