We have a swapped 5.0L v8 YJ with a NP 205 transfer case and I need to find out what u-joint the front drive shaft uses where it attaches to the transfer case end. I know the front diff end is a 269 u joint. But it is 2 wide for the yoke on the NP 205 transfer case output yoke. Anyone have an idea?

1979 ford f 150 but the u joint size is not correct.

Mic it between the ears and mic the size of the cap. 1310 is a 3.219” dimension end to end and the cap size is 1.062”. 269 is not a u-joint size, that is a Moog number. Stick to the 1310 style numbering for less confusion. Don’t go based on vehicle.

it takes a 269 in the front of the front drive shaft and the rear of the front drive shaft where it connects to the transfer case takes a 369. SO, if anyone has a set up like this remember a Np205 cast iron gear to gear transfer case uses a 369 joint. At least ours out of a 1979 does.

You really should get rid of the Moog u-joint numbering and stick to the industry standard numbering. People don’t speak in 269, 369, etc. That is only Moog.
