Hey y'all hope everyone's having a great Sunday. My jeep is having computer problems and I've tried to solder new capacitors myself but I have nerve issues in my hands and fear I've done more harm than good. I'm looking for a ecm for a 95 wrangler 2.5l auto. If someone has one please message me or if I can be pointed in the right direction to buy one online that'd be great too. Also I've heard that the 95 Cherokee ecms are cross platform. Is that true? Might be easier to get one of those if that's the case. Thank you and Happy Easter!

i went back to wed site and reread, it is not what you arelooking for/i very sorry for the mistake.

do you have a part number, i just off phone with a couple of my buddys and they have one, but unsure it it will fit.

The XJ and YJ can interchange, however with the YJ automatic it gets a bit weird. Does the 4 cylinder 94-95 have torque converter lockup? I forget but I think it doesn’t? Any relay mounted on the firewall? If not then no big deal, but the 4.0 for sure has TC lockup and requires the 94-95 pcm to lock it up. If the 4 cyl doesn’t have it, then any 2.5 91+ OBDI SBEC-type PCM will work.

A used one off eBay will cost around $500. I had mine re-soldered by these folks for a fraction of the cost with great results:

my buddys numbers dont match with yours. sorry, but i will keep looking. have a good day.
They don’t need to match. There are like 35 different part numbers per year for about 4 different platforms. Matching will make 100% sure they are the same, but there are probably 5-8 different numbers from one model year alone that would work. Not to mention other years could also potentially work.

I did some digging and the 94-95 2.5L auto DOES have a lock-up torque converter. So you will need a 94-95 2.5L auto PCM if you buy one. Maybe the eBay guys can fix yours though.
