Can anyone tell me what this band-aid is on the frame?

Considering this 95 YJ for 5K. Engine was swapped for a 5.0 302. It's lifted but looks to have a band-aid on the frame (which otherwise looks very, very good) and an extra leg welded on top. Can anyone tell me what it is I'm seeing here?

Those are added to support the radiator core, because of the 3" body lift.

I fabled kind of the same thing for my 1" body lift.
If you're keeping the 3" pucks, go ahead and leave the risers in there. If you decide to lower the body, you'll have to cut them off.

That boomerang shackle is upside down, but since you don't have the center pin installed, it probably doesn't matter, just looks weird.

Also, look at some other YJ frames, what you think is a bandaid is on all of them.
