Not sure if it could have vibrated loose or someone just felt they needed it more than me. Either way, I just went out and it’s gone. My question is, anything to worry about driving until I get a new one sent out?

As I recall I think that and two tubular arms and the fender bolts support the front end grill, hood, radiator, and fenders. There may not be a lot of weight on it but it keeps things from flexing. I found mine was loose when I took the front end off.

Where are you ordering the parts from? The top washer with the lip kept getting back ordered on Quadratec, I ended up finding one on ebay. Just fyi. I think I ordered the bolt on ebay too.

Most of the parts I get come from the local auto parts store. eBay is good for some unusual items.

I’m not sure how to quote from the phone so... Flyer58, yeah, not much weight but I do feel and more so hear a major vibe difference. The front end rattle is more than obvious. SirDoopYJ, thanks for the heads up. Quadratic is my usual “go to”, I did find it on eBay. I’ve never bought from yet but I’m sure Dead Jeep has something as well and they are close to home. Has anybody here sourced from them?

That is awesome they are close to home. I have yet to order from them, but have I have been tempted to.

Here is a reference photo of mine in case you need. It looked right to me and my grille spaced out pretty good for the side fender bolts.

A ‘91 just came in to our local salvage yard so I’ll probably run up there first. See what else may be good on it I could use. Once it gets above 30 degrees that is. Junkyarding in a NY winter isn’t very pleasant.

I didn’t get to the yard yet because we got snow and I didn’t feel like slopping around in it. I decided I’d rather go new anyway. Another question though. Are these spacers norm or do I have to go bigger than stock for the grill mount to make up the difference?
