It’s any of them that look like this and say “with air conditioning.”

I had Old Man Emu shocks for my lift and I loved the way they rode. Very soft and comfortable. I went back to stock height and used Bilsteins. I don’t like them. Very stiff. I’m planning on going back to OME eventually. Even if they are a tiny bit long for stock height, they’ll be fine. I want...
Factory console for 91-95 is held in with 4 sheet metal/self tapping style bolts. The holes would be on the rearward portion of the transmission tunnel hump. Maybe someone covered over them with something, but bolts were definitely there at some point on a 95. Not sure how the 87-90 console...
That’s a good point. I have driven my YJ so infrequently lately and am so used to my truck that I forget reverse is on that side and had that lockout lol.
5th and reverse are likely separate issues. 5th commonly slides out of place on the AX5 because it’s held in place with a cheap snap ring that eventually gives up under torque. Large tires with stock gears exacerbate that condition. I doubt anybody has that issue on stock size tires. Anywho...
It’s not a locker, it’s an axle shaft coupler. All it does is free up energy spent on turning the front axle by allowing the front driveshaft to sit still.
It uses vacuum in one direction to disengage the motor in 2WD and then in 4WD it reverses the vacuum to engage the fork and coupler. You...
75W-140 is pretty much entirely synthetic. If you want conventional go with 85W-140. I use Torco 85W-140 in everything, even my brand new truck.
For manual transmission fluid I really like Driven conventional 80W-90 GL4. It’s perfectly fine as a substitute for the factory recommended 75W-90...
No problem. I would not consult shops for really anything pertaining to a YJ. My guess is it's due to how easy they are to work on, it seems as if shops never see them and accordingly don't know anything about them, and since all the service data is in ancient books and not as much subscriptions...
You have a 20 gallon tank. Any plastic YJ tank is 20 gallon. The sending units are different from the factory for 15 vs 20 gallon, but they honestly read about the same. Both of them will sit on full for a long time if used with 20 gallon capacity (75-100 miles) and then start moving down the...
This reeks of AI. An 87-90 carbureted motor uses a timing chain driven mechanical fuel pump that generates probably the 13-15 psi you mentioned without me checking the specs. The majority of YJs including 87-95 2.5L and 91-95 4.0L use a, roughly speaking, 100 psi fuel pump.
As for fuel...
