Anyone Downsize Tires For Better Performance?

I have a 1994 2.5L with power steering. I took off the 31’s a few months ago and installed the smaller 29” tires (235/75/15). It was such a dramatic change in driving. The Jeep wants to go into 5th gear most of the time now. It rides and seems to handle better. It does great riding the trails on...

    Another lift question / considerations

Thanks for the confirmation. I was watching several videos last night and looking at my Haynes manual and started to realize that what I’m looking at isn’t a body lift which is great news. Another lift question / considerations

Hey. I hate to ask another lift related question, but I’ve been reading different threads regarding body and suspension lifts. I’m hoping I can get some advice and for a plan. I noticed that this line has been broken/disconnected since I acquired this 2.5 YJ. This line is on the passenger side, near the battery. The line next to it goes to the 4wd vacuum...

    Broken line coming from firewall

Thanks for your reply. I ended getting some fuel and air lines from my chainsaw carb rebuild kit and slipping it over broken vacuum line. I slipped some heat shrink over the line and just heated so slightly so that the line remained open. I broke the line to the map sensor and fixed it the same...

    Broken line coming from firewall

Got a 94’ YJ 2,5 L that I’ve been working on for a few weeks. It’s been sitting in the woods for close to 10 years. I’ve got it running again, but have a ton of work to do. The thermostat gauge wasn’t working, so I was installing a new temp gauge sensor. While pulling the “wires” away so you...
