    Green Jeep

Thank you, ive seen a few sets for sale, and one or two of the green Sahara seats, but nice ones cost an arm and a leg. Aftermarket seats almost always end up being big bucket seats which look out of place if your rig isn't built built.

Thank you, its been a project. I see how you read that now, didn't think of that. I don't have a name for it, its just the first green jeep i've had, so that's its name as far as im concerned.

    Whistling Noise Coming from Engine

Just about every 4.0 and 2.5 Jeep i've been around has whistled to one extent or another. I'd assume vacuum leaks.

The seats aren't the hardest thing in the world to find, but will take some searching, or some cash. Or both, depends on how you want to balance those. The dash would be a pretty in-depth install, but not difficult. Mine are not perfect, but look good in photos. My opinion on lifts, & there's...

Jeep Yj steering and suspension rebuild questions

I am on 33" tires and a 4" lift and do not have SYE. Everything works and flexes as it should. I have a custom trans support, which helps the driveline angle some, but not much, less than an inch of change. I do not have extended motor mounts either. I wouldn't worry too much about a SYE. Soft...

    Green Jeep

Thank you for your kind words. This Jeep has been a project. I come from XJ's and TJ's, so this is new territory for me too. The interior is a stock interior, that somehow survived the pervious owner. Not the most sought after seats, those would be the green Saharas. But they do look good...

Jeep Yj steering and suspension rebuild questions

Yes, definitely different compositions of metal, which give different spring rates and durability. But if you're not wheeling heavy, the RC will do just fine, not great or perfect but it will do it just fine. The shocks make the bigger difference on a day to day basis in my opinion. I have...

    Green Jeep

New to the Forum. I have a 95 YJ with a 2.5 and the 5 speed AX5. It is lifted 4" with a rough country kit. I'm on 33x12.5/15's on a 15x10 Tactik wheel. Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 tires. It was was originally Hunter Green? I think that's the name. It's the newer green now, from the TJ era, and...

Jeep Yj steering and suspension rebuild questions

I have all RC suspension, Probably going to switch the shocks out for Bilstein or Fox like I have on my other rigs, but For the money, the RC kits really aren't bad. The metal is metal, pair an RC lift with some higher-end shocks, and you'll be happy. It's a jeep, it's not going to ever ride...

    Heavy Duty Steering

Hello all, I'm working on updating my steering on my 95 YJ. I am going to use a kit from RuffStuff. The kit is a one ton kit that uses GM one ton tie rod ends. The kit requires me to cut my own tubing that they send, and weld in the ends, which is all fine. If I decide to mount the tie rods...
