Hi, I am new to this forum. I have noticed that there are big boy seat extender brackets for TJ and newer. I was just wondering if they made heavy duty seat rails for the YJ. I am a big guy and I was hoping to get 3 more inches room between my belly and the steering wheel lol. Plus I heard that YJ floor pans are ki da weak. Is there a way to reinforce the seat bracket so it does not eventually crack the floor? Yes I know I need to lose weight and I am working on it.

Welcome aboard!
I'm not aware of any, but it seems to me that might be pretty easy to fab from angle iron to relocate the seat.
Your other option would be a tilt column conversion, had a friend was a big boy too and had to do that for his CJ2A.
But, that was a flat-fender where the steering wheel is generally between your knees anyway.
Not aware of any Yjs with a tilt option, so that would be a lot of work and adaptation.
As for the floor, I think you're probably OK, obviously if it's a rust bucket all bets are off.

Harbor Freight wheel chock and two hockey pucks are my seat/floor reinforcement.

I kept the chock behind the seat because my parking brake didn't work. One day I thought "Hmmm... if only it was higher." I remembered I had some extra hockey pucks from another project, saw the spacing worked out and bingo, seat support! Plus I have an extra wheel chock should I ever need it.
