I've had my 1990 YJ for almost 18 years now & figure it's about time I started putting some of the small stuff back into it. It has the 4.2 L engine. Had a cracked Exhaust Manifold that refused to seal up, so I replaced it and everything else, back to the end of the tailpipe---with all "oversized, SS" parts. Surprised----gained a great "throaty" sound AND a little more guts on acceleration! With 18" wheels & oversized tires the extra torque is a welcomed bonus. I bought new window rubbers to replace the dry, cracked original stuff, but can't find any instructions how best to replace them. It looks like they are held on by some sort of staples, which are all rusted. Can anyone help explain my best method, please?
