wondering if anyone knows where to look for a hard to find part. I am the original owner on a 1988 Jeep YJ. We recently had it in the shop for some work that needed to be done and the mechanic advised that the intermediate steering shaft needed to be replaced and he was unable to find the part. I thought no biggy, I will find the part online at one of the many websites that cater to jeep yj parts.... but no luck. I think the issue is my jeep is manual steering and all i can find is power steering.
Anyone have any suggestions as i was hoping to get new vs used? or will i need to try a bone yard somewhere?
