Rusty 4" lift

New to this. 95 with a 2.5. 2" Body lift with 31's. Someone suggested this brand over Rough Country.

The vehicle is not a daily driver. It is with me for nostalgia and going off road. I might spend 15 days of the year off road. I wanted to eventually get larger tires (33's or 35's) for off road purposes, but still be able to enjoy driving it on the street every so often. I heard that SOA has less stability, so i would want to keep the SUA.

This lift has a Transfer Case drop and shims to tilt the diff up so the driveshaft doesnt flex so much (I assume that the shims are designed for that) Will I need a Double cardan drive shaft? The kit looks like it has trak bar drops. What else would I need if to i went this route?

I personally would remove the trac bars entirely. Id also not install the drop arm until you drive it and see how it is bump steer wise, if any. Kinda trial and error kinda thing. The shims arent about drive shaft flex, their for adjusting the drive line/pinion to eliminate D/S vibes. If you go with a SYE then you can eliminate the drop T case bit. I cant speak for Rustys stuff, however the last leaf sprung CJ got a 4" Pro crap kit installed in it, this was years ago. I had issues with the front spring shackles flipping themselves backward when wheeling, making for no suspension, which was a PITA to undo. Its all about $$$$$$$$$$$.
