Hello! 1st time poster. I am doing a complete rewire on my 90 YJ (4.2L with Automatic Trans, HEI,) and having a little trouble determining the best setup for the starter relay/solenoid. I splurged on the American Autowire update kit and the directions are decent, but none of the starter setups shown in the manual are a match for the parts currently in the vehicle. Currently, the starter is the type that uses a separate solenoid and only has one large hot wire going to it. There is both a starter relay and a solenoid on the passenger side wheel well. I attached both of the pages from the Autowire manual that show the setups for either "87 w/Ford Style Relay" or "88-90 W/5 post Relay", but since my YJ has both the "Ford Type" and "5 Post Type", I'm not sure what to do? Any suggestions?
