[QUOTE="CPucci41, post: 427870, member: 19196"] Happy New Year All! racking my brain trying to figure this out. Pulled out my battery tray to address the nest of wires (and meted vacuum hoses!) just below the battery. I found and 8-10 gauge red wire cutoff and taped up but still connected to the starter relay..Finding a lot of this thanks to the PO. I thought this would be as simple as loosening the nut on the relay removing said wire and crimp connector and re-connecting.... not so much, when I go to loosen the nut the whole stud spins. I figure it would be easy to just replace the relay...during my search for a new relay I found a few variations. The pic below is of what is currently in the Jeep, the image from Qudratec seems to match what I have but states it’s only for the 4.0 not the 2.5. the Standard Auto relay looks similar but the terminal in the middle of the relay isn’t compatible with my connect so I guess my question is would it be Ok to use the Quadratec option? Does anyone else have images of what their starter relay looks like? thanks for any help.
