I just adjusted mine twice last week because it had a horrendous squeal when I started the cold engine. I isolated it to the idler pully slipping (no AC). Tightening the old belt helped so now I only get a short chirp when starting. You don't need to remove any bolts only loosen them so the pump will pivot. On my 2.5L there's two bolts on the front of the steering pump and two on the back side that you'll loosen. Then turn the adjusting bolt/rod with the head that faces the front left wheel. Mine was frozen and needed lots of BP Blaster to get moving. They say the belt should have 1/2in flex between the top pullies and I just winged it and got it close. Too much tension and you'll destroy the bearings in the pump and alternator.
