I have a set of speed hut gauges that I got as a gift a few years ago that sat in storage and I’m just now getting to installing them. I took apart the dash today to try and get a plan for the wiring but I ended up confused.
My YJ is a 93, so I have the large combined tach/speedo/warning lights. How can I get the new tach and Speedo to work with the warning lights, since the new one leaves that space empty. Would I have to retrofit an early YJ warning light setup?
As for the center gauges, all the SpeedHut gauges have 5 wires. There’s the red/white/black wires for the power and illumination, those I’m fine with, but each gauge (besides 4x4 and voltage) has two yellow wires, one yellow/black and the other yellow/green. I don’t know where these need to be wired to, and I can’t find any info on the SpeedHut instructions. My guess is I’m missing some harness parts, but I’d assume I can just wire the gauges directly into the existing harness
Any tips or info on wiring this would be helpful as well!
