In need of help to try and track down the grimlin in my 1988 2.5. bought my first jeep a few months ago and wanted to do a good tune up. What I swapped out during tune up: Spark plugs and wires MAP sensor Oxygen sensor Coolant temp sensor Intake air temp sensor Throttle position sensor Idle control motor Preparing the jeep to go out to Moab in a few months so I don’t want to get in to any issues out there. After a week, it started to rough idle while cold start, hesitate and die after 10 min. I drove it on the road for a few miles and it died on me while driving. I think it’s a fuel pressure issue so I got a tester from the auto parts store. The tester plugs don’t fit on the pressure test port plug on the throttle body (Jeep has a throttle body injection) Question: 1: Can I do a pressure test from the fuel line by the fuel filter? Would it give me the same readings. Not sure if it will but want to ask someone smarter than me on this. And I am tracking 14-15 PSI is what it should be? 2: do I have to calibrate the TPS? I saw a few things on YouTube that you do? Any thoughts, recommendations will greatly be appreciated! Rod
