Vehicle: 92 wrangler, base trim, everything stock

Goal: refurbished, OEM-like 15” wheels, with Jeep logo center inserts

Current: the wheels are original, not in terrible shape but have some rash and small rust spots. I’ve got the center inserts.

I don’t want anything fancy and don’t want to deviate from OEM too much.

My first thought was to just get the current wheels sandblasted and powder coated, but I got a quote for $800 from my local shop ($10 / inch of diameter, times 4, plus primer and powder costs).

Looking online, I found PartsGeek has a remanufactured 15” wheel powder coated black for under $100… but they only have one in stock.

There are some new replacement options (on Quadratec, Extreme Terrain, etc) that are roughly OEM-looking, but I haven’t found any that have holes placed where I could bolt on the Jeep logo center inserts from my current wheels.

Not trying to over think this, but also not in any rush to get it done, so figured I’d source some opinions and recommendations. I guess the options are:
1/ spend $800
2/ buy new wheels and forego the center inserts
3/ someone in here knows about replacement wheels that will take the center inserts
4/ sandblast and powder coat myself - sounds like a PITA

Let me know your thoughts

go with your first thought, and option 4. yes it can be a pain, but you can also be proud that you done job yourself. i am a stock man all the way. good luck and safe driving.
