Hello From Rhode Island,
I'm a new member of the forum and a new owner of this 1993 YJ. This is my first Jeep of any kind and am excited to enjoy the unique driving experience. The highlights of the YJ is 4.0 I6 and 5 speed manual, 3.55 gears with 74K miles. I downloaded the build sheet, and she has pretty much remains as from the factory. Exceptions are the 235/75 R15 tires, new radio, missing ashtray and maybe the top.
I got the jeep from my brother in CO and know it has pretty much sat in his garage for the past 7 years. It starts and drives fine. My plans are just to do full maintenance to establish a baseline but keep it stock with minor exceptions. I would like to add a rear receiver hitch. My vehicles over the past 35 years have been OBS Ford Pickups and Geo Metro's, both with active online member forums. I look forward to learning more about the jeep YJ and the passion people have for them.
