Hello, I have 95 YJ with a rough country 4 inch lift. The problem I have is when turning I get a popping sound and its random. over the last couple months I've been chasing the sound and replacing parts , Ball joints ,Tie rods , Spring & shackle bushings. All were in Ok shape but being 30 years old I replaced them, noise stll there.. then the other day I saw what was happening the leaf spring on the passenger side was moving independently from the stack. I think that the spring is broke or the center pin is broke. I remove the leaf spring and it checks out Ok the center pin was fine but it was a little loose so i tghten it up and reistall and it still pops. So my question is how long should a leaf spring ( rough country ) last I know it is older than 5 years . I called Rough Country and of course Thay say that thats not a problem that they have heard of but would replace them if I had a receipt withch I dont. I 'm thinking it time to replace the Leaf springs, what do you guys think.
