My 1990 automatic 4.2 wrangler blows hot air from around the 4wd shifter. Is there a seal that is supposed to be there so that doesn't occur? If so whats the actual part so I can buy it. I've had a couple of other YJ's and I don't remember having that be an issue before.
Is there supposed to be a seal around the 4wd shifter?

My '91 has the 5 speed and that shifter did have a secondary boot.
It was also integral to the t-case shifer, but it was so shot that I just tossed it.
I'm just happy to have a cover over the transmission that none of my previous Jeeps had!
As for an auto I would imagine it has something similar, but I don't know what the P/N would be.
