I have a 1989 Wrangler YJ. For a while I was able to turn the key clockwise all the way to the stop, and it would start. Now I get nothing. The ignition switch on the column as well as the cylinder are fairly new. I had to replace the headlight dimmer switch which uses the same mounting screws as the ignition switch last week, and it fixed the dimmer problem, but may have caused my ignition issue. My question: Is there an adjustment for the switch itself? I am wondering if the "actuator" rod is actually actuating the switch when the key is turned?? Thanks
