Hi, my name is Marie-Jeanne and I am from the province of Québec and bought myself, well...

Actually traded my Aveo 2007 LS for that beautiful Jeep YJ 1994 Sahara Edition 4.0L I6... There's a few things to do on it but it feel nice to have my dream car. My friends are good mechanics so I will learn a lot to take care to the utmost of her. Also getting the hang of the manual driving with the clutch and everything...

I am on one spare tire so I ordered 5 Nokian Outpost AT; I changed the starter today and we will work on something to cover it.

The batterie isn't locked; the back door open by itself sometimes (now strapped strongly)... the 4th speed grind so I need to shift carefully (pulling a bit on the left side once I am in the slot) to avoid that. The front whippers doesn't work but you hear them so probably only a connection issue. The mechanic said I got a nice engine that doesn't have much rust, the alternator got changed and the batterie is new.

All the oils are getting changed and the little issues said above will probably also be solved the same day I get my tires on, Monday.

She's clean AF and can't wait the summer to open her, remove the doors and see her all clean and ready to get dirty! I am also getting really good on the clutching, I am so proud of myself. Some issues on the start on first, sometimes I think I tend to push gaz too soon maybe?

I got my routine...

Push Break pedal, release Hard Break, turn key, Anti-Theft system, press clutch, start car,
put on '1', release clutch really slowly until the car is trying to move, once it goes,
stop releasing clutch and let the car go by itself,
once with a good speed, release slowly at the same time then pushing the gaz pedal down,
Actually, what is said above I am not sure, I am used to just release fully the clutch and once she has speed, I press gaz...
clutch hard, release gaz, change to '2' and release really slowly to not damage the transmission.

RIGHT?
