I undone positive battery cable to change upper alternator bracket. Got it changed hooked battery back up. Now it is hard to start and check engine light is on. Fixing to check code. It seems like it doesn’t have fuel pressure. I can turn it over and pat the gas it will finally crank and runs fine. Before ide just hit the key and it would crank right up.

Odd, however when you disco'ed the battery the ECM may have dumped its "adaptive memory" and needs to relearn. Regardless it should have started normally.

1894 4.0L jeep YJ, 130 year old jeep running. :devilish:
the TPS must be indexed at the install, the FSM shows how and a photo of how in the FSM manual free
if not indexed correctly it will fail.
it can not just be thrown on.
sorry but those are the facts.
the book is free. to read

free and can be, read the TPS page, dont guess just do what it tells.
yes PCM reset the TPS is auto learned. (battery disconnected) and put back
the whole PCM auto learns it all. no Scan tools needed, but one step in FSM for injector sync.
