Filled the tank last night and this morning the garage has serious gas fumes. When i bought the jeep a few days ago it had 1/2 a tank and no fumes. So I’m thinking that there is a bad cap or there must be a vent line of some sort. Reading indicated a vent line to a filter and it seem that it’s common to go bad. Trying to read about how to get to the line and check as well as the location of the charcoal filter. Do I have to drop the tank to access the lines, etc. Any advice or direction would be appreciated. 1993 YJ with a 4.0 engine.
