I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ the ignition key switch does not work. I have jumped the starter and the Jeep starts . I have bought a push button start switch and a master on switch. Anyone out their do this? and can advise me on what wires I need to tap into to by pass the ignition key switch to hook up the new switches? Thanks, Russ

Its probably easier to replace the switch down on the steering column. Unless the internals of the column are beyond repair. getting the engine to crank is one thing but you'll also need to heat up the other circuits like the lights, gauges and the rest. A wiring diagram for your year/engine would be a good start.
