Hi All
I'm looking at ways to make my Bestop less draughty, especially where the top of the door frame meets the roof line?
There is a wrap around section on the roof bit that curls under the two metal rods and secure onto a strip of velcro.
When I get up to speed or it's windy, the top of the door bends out slightly and there is a 1 cm gap that lets cold air in and warm air out?
Has anyone any suggestions or fixes they have done to keep that joint nice and snug and help keep the heat in the cab?

Does anyone have any suggestions for tears or patches as I have two identical tears on the corners of the roof where it joins the top of the window frame and latches on to it.
This leaves a small gap at the front of the door where it meats the door frame on both sides.

any cheats, hacks, solutions, ideas???
Thanks all.

the tears can be fixed with a small patch of canvas and super glue. had same problem in past. work good. the gap over your door i have no ideal.

The only honest fix to the gap above the door at higher speeds would be to just buy hard doors. This will seal better, and it will lessen the amount of cold air leaking into the cabin. You can run full doors with a soft top, but a full hard top/hard door combo might run you $1 - 2k on Facebook marketplace. Trust me, it would be a worthy investment.

It would be the right solution but I have a Jurassic Park build so it's half door to match the movie version. Guess I'll have to compromise and accept the cold drafts in this colder weather. I might see if there is a way to thicken the material that folds under the roof bars and velcros to the roof. Make it a thicker bit of material to maybe reduce the gap when driving. I tried bending the frame within the door window to make it hold against the Jeep better but it was too difficult to close the door!
