4L60E transmission torque converter

I have an 89, that i got with a 350 chevy and a turbo 350 transmission in it. I was able to get a 4L60e trasnmission for free to put in it so i am able to drive at highway speeds way better. The trans did not come with a tourque converter. I do not know what stall speed i should get the converter. Im not doing high performace stuff with it and dont have a lot of insperation of off roading or mudding in it. It is more of a pavement pricess, or going on the beach jeep. It does have a four inch lift and 33 inch tires. ive been researching around and cant quit figure it out. Also think i might need a new bell housing. but i'll figrue that out when i get the turbo 350 out. if anyone has any advice would be greatly appericated.

For a torque converter, since you're not looking for high performance and plan to use your Jeep mostly as a pavement cruiser and beach vehicle, a torque converter with a stall speed in the range of 1800-2400 RPM should suit you well. This range provides a good balance for everyday driving while still being responsive enough for your setup.

Make sure to check the specs on the torque converter to ensure compatibility with your 4L60E, and since you're running a lift and larger tires, it can also be beneficial to consider how the converter will perform with those variables.

Regarding the bell housing, keep in mind that the 4L60E and Turbo 350 have different mounting patterns, so you'll definitely need the correct bell housing for the 4L60E installation.
