Depends what you want to spend, don't waste a DIME on the D35!
I bent my D35 right out of the gate, first trail ride and the lunchbox locker quit unlocking.
Great... Now what? Sure as hell wasn't going to put the same thing back in.
Ended up with a full boogie, custom built D489 from East Coast Gear Supply for about $3400.
A bit spendy, but now I have 35 spline axles, an OX and 3.125" x 1/2" wall tubes. (I kept my stock brakes)
Also took this opportunity to go to 4.88s, my 4 squirrels need all the help they can get to turn 32s.
Thought about 5.13s, but I'll be swapping the 5 speed for a 4 and need to be able to do 65-70 on the interstate.
If my little 2.5 breaks this, it will probably be spectacular.
Anyway, that's where I went, No regrets.
