Red with green stripe wire in the harness gets really hot when the keys in accessory

I’m rebuilding my yj (engine), and I’m in the process of wiring up the Holley sniper. Cranked it just to make sure all the original wiring was hooked up right. The problem I’m having right now though is when the key’s left on accessory, a red (maybe pink?) with a green stripe wire gets REALLY hot. It’s in the harness up against the fire wall and says ‘DO NOT CUT OR SPLICE’ but I figured I’d ask on here before I start digging into spaghetti haha. I’m just wondering what it goes to and why it’s getting so hot. Thanks

The red wire with a green stripe you mentioned could be a power wire related to a critical function, possibly the ignition system or fuel system.
